Force Sensors

The Crouzet Tension transducers can reliably measure compressive and tensile forces in a wide range of environments.

Find your solution
switches-and-sensors
Load pins can be used either to measure loads and forces or as protection against overload. They are installed in place of a normal shaft or a shaft of the machine under test. The measuring signal is proportional to the force acting on the shaft.
  • It measures a radial force and can be bi-directional.
  • Returns force information in Newton.
The tension & compression sensors only measure an axial force and return an information proportional to the force. Using strain gauge technology, the deformation of the element provides an electrical signal proportional to the measured load or force.
  • Measures only the axial force.
  • Returns force information in Newton.
The beam sensor is designed to measure a force perpendicular to its axis. Mounted in cantilever, they deliver a signal proportional to the force received, thanks to the strain gauge technology.
  • Returns an electrical signal proportional to the measured load or force.
What is a multi axis sensor? It can measure all or part of the three forces and three moments of the mechanical torsor.
  • Returns force information in Newton.

Weighing Load Cells

The Crouzet Load cells will reliably measure and monitor the force being applied in a wide range of environments.

logic-control
Load pins can be used either to measure loads and forces or as protection against overload. They are installed in place of a normal shaft or a shaft of the machine under test. The measuring signal is proportional to the force acting on the shaft.
  • It measures a radial force and can be bi-directional.
  • Returns force information in Newton.
Compression load cells are designed to measure static and dynamic compression loads.

Torque Sensors

The Crouzet Torque transducers will reliably measure and monitor the torque being transmitted between two elements in a wide range of environments.

Find your solution
solenoid-valves
A static torque transducer is a mechanical element whose function is to measure a torque between two parts. Frequently used for torque measurements, control and calibration of screwdrivers and torque wrenches, but also for measurements on engine test bench.
  • It is fixed in series.
  • He receives the couple directly.
  • Returns force moment information in newton meters.

Extensometers

The Crouzet Displacement transducers will reliably measure the physical deformation of the structure it is attached to and can be adapted for several environments.

Find your solution
pneumatic-indicators
Also called displacement sensor. It measures the deformation of a part, a component or a structure:
  • It is mounted in parallel with the load to be measured.
  • It does not take the load, but the deformation of the support on which it is installed.
  • Returns information of distance from micrometer to millimeter.

Instrumentation

In order to measure structural force on pieces or equipment. Crouzet integrates thousands of strain gauges in order to measure the deformation or temperature during tests.

Crouzet provides sensor bonding services to OEMs and manufacturers to measure structural forces and stresses on parts (propeller, actuator), aircraft or car. Dozens or even thousands of sensors are glued to the aircraft or vehicle during testing to measure strain or temperature and ensure the integrity and reliability of the structure.
